Determined to accommodate the demand of subscribers, the Ogun State Government has allocated 27.6 hectares of land for the construction of phase 3  Prince Court Estate, Kobape in  Obafemi -Owode Local Government Area of the State.

Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi who dropped the hint at the site of the project, noted that the success which was recorded after delivery of phases 1 and 2 necessitated the commencement of phase 3.

Omoniyi said the Ministry of Housing had cleared and begun setting out 224 housing units for the proposed two-bedroom expansible houses, saying the project would be delivered in six months.

The Commissioner noted that over 500 applications were received during the construction of phases 1 and 2, but only 300 applicants were able to get their allocation based on a first-come, first-served policy.

He stated, " You do not need to know any political appointees before getting allocation, once you pay, we pick up your file to process. We also give priority to Civil Servants who are already paying their mortgages. We are going to create a smart city where people can conveniently live, work and play".

Omoniyi assured that upon completion, the world-class infrastructure facilities that were provided in the 1st and 2nd phases would be replicated in the 3rd phase, saying the government would make them affordable and not compromise quality.

The Commissioner urged the awaiting subscribers to be patient, saying the Ministry would fast track the delivery of the project, as the government was committed to the wellbeing of the people.
